UNESCO Italy 2010 Week of Education for Sustainable Development: Mobility

The Italian Committee for the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (DESS) has chosen the theme of Mobility for the 2010 UNESCO week of Education for Sustainable Development. The week will take place from 8 to 14 November 2010.

Promoted and sponsored by the Italian National Commission for UNESCO, the first goal is to develop in individuals and collectively, in local entities and in large companies, operational capacity and responsible actions to create harmonious and ecological cities, founded on new lifestyles, influenced by conscious and participatory citizenship.

All institutions, organisations, entities, centres, schools, NGOs, universities, companies etc which are engaged in education for sustainable development are invited for this occasion to promote educational and awareness-raising initiatives.
