AGORA, a new online forum for Women in Science

AGORA, an interactive forum sponsored by the L’OREAL-UNESCO For Women in Science programme, was launched on 8 March 2006. It will be published four times a year.

The first issue of AGORA covers the access of girls and women to scientific education. The next issue will concentrate on women’s role in sustainable development. AGORA is to be a means of dialog and reflection on topics that concern UNESCO.
